Bournemouth Sevens Festival Confirmed

The Bournemouth Sevens Festival is an action packed weekend filled with enthralling sport, live music and awe-inspiring entertainment. Attracting 20,000 people, Bournemouth Sevens is the world’s largest rugby, netball and music festival and is globally renowned as the Sporting Glastonbury.

Smash Robots are thrilled to be playing in the Carling Beer tent (pictured above) on Sunday June 3rd at 2:30pm.  Tickets will be available directly from the band soon so watch this space if you fancy an epic bank holiday weekend!

New psyched Robot line up!

We are thrilled to announce that Smash Robots have exploded from a 3 piece to an awesome 4-some with the addition of a new lead guitarist Bid Boudier.

Bid has been on the bands radar for a long time as quite simply he is to lead guitar what Dave Grohl is to godlike geniuses.  A highly capable guitarist with tons of live gigging experience (including Glastonbury) and most importantly bags of personality and Smash Robots charm! 

Bid will give the band new dimension both musically and visually on stage.  But dont worry folks, its still the same old Smash Robots sound but now with 25% extra ROCK!

If that wasnt enough we also have a new man behind the drum kit, Mr. Ben Watkins.  When it comes to great big beats there was only one man for the job.  Ben will bash one out in a moments notice and then bash another one out just for fun, which makes him the perfect fit for SR.  When Ben's not drumming or loittering in train stations he likes to surf like a bandit down in the West Country (oooh aaaaar).
